Authors, Tim Whittome and Amy Wolf

Join A Book for All Seasons for a dual book signing in the store! Help us welcome local authors, Tim Whittome and Amy Wolf. Learn more about the authors and their books below:

Tim Whittome, author of "Meeting" Anne Frank and Denied! Failing Cordelia, is originally from England and now lives in Washington State. Tim now enjoys attending Seattle Sounders FC soccer games but retains his British pride by continuing to be a proud supporter of Arsenal FC in the English Premier League.

Tim first “walked” with Anne Brontë when he was in his late twenties; and he has been inspired by her ever since. To borrow a phrase attributed to Anne, but which he and Brenda Whipps sadly cannot find the source of despite exhaustive search, Tim largely lives for the fact that “there are great books in this world and great worlds in books.” Tim is devoted to honoring the memory of not just Anne Brontë, but also those of Anne and Margot Frank. In 2021, Tim edited and published “Meeting” Anne Frank. Tim has an adopted daughter whom he wrote about under the pen name of Simon Cambridge in his “Denied! Failing Cordelia” series of books. The writing part of this trilogy was inspired by adhering to Anne Brontë’s devotion to the truth, for “truth always conveys its own moral to those who are able to receive it.”

Amy Wolf is from Los Angeles, but now lives here in Washington State. She has been a script reader for the major Hollywood studios; a software developer; and a teacher of English. She is the author of many novels: a trilogy involving dragons, another about a Greek hero, and plus books about women in history, like the Brontës and a female highwayman (not that these two ever met . . .). Amy has an Honours degree in English from the University of London. Her book The Misses Brontës’ Establishment is an Amazon Kindle Scout winner. Both this and A Woman of the Road have been honored with Best Historical Fiction noms from Chanticleer. She has an imported British husband and a small, barky dog.
