Join Wenatchee River Institute, A Book for All Seasons, and author and artist, Molly Hashimoto for a Red Barn Event! Learn how Molly creates block prints, a relief method that has been featured for several years in calendars and cards published by Pomegranate Communications. The cover image of her recent book published by Mountaineers Books, Trees of the West: An Artist's Guide, is made from a block print (pictured below).

The event will begin with a brief slide show about her book and its subject, which Molly has been studying and painting for decades: western trees, followed by a step-by-step demonstration of her printing method--designing, carving, inking and printing plus hand-coloring with watercolor.

This is a FREE event with a donation basket at the door.
Doors open at 6:30pm for a community social with beer and wine available for purchase. The presentation will start at 7:00pm.
A Book for All Seasons will be present to sell Molly's books.
