Kay Kenyon moderates a discussion between Authors Bill Johnson and Anthea Sharpe. Anthea Sharp is a USA Today bestselling, award-winning author of numerous volumes of YA Urban Fantasy. Growing up on fairy tales and computer games, Anthea has melded the two in her award-winning Feyland series. Anthea now makes her home in sunny Southern California, where she writes, hangs out in virtual worlds, plays the fiddle with her Celtic band Fiddlehead, and spends time with her family. She also is a RITA-nominated author of historical romance under her pen name, Anthea Lawson. Bill Johnson is the author of A Story is a Promise and The Spirit of Storytelling, a workbook that explores how to create dramatic, engaging stories; and web master of Essays on the Craft of Dramatic Writing, a site that explores principles of storytelling through reviews of popular movies, books and plays. Bill has read manuscript submissions for literary agents and he's a produced playwright, with a recent production in Brighton, England. He teaches writing workshops around the United States. Moderator Kay Kenyon is the author of a psi-power alt-history spy series, Dark Talents, as well as over a dozen award-winning science fiction and fantasy novels. Her work has been shortlisted for the Philip K. Dick, the John W. Campbell, the Endeavour, and other awards, and hailed by The Washington Post, Publishers Weekly, and more. She is a founding member of the Write on the River conference in Wenatchee.
