In this special session of words for birds, four local authors read their avian-inspired poetry and prose. Award-winning Derek Sheffield, author of Not For Luck, Through the Second Skin, and more; Heather Durham, acclaimed author of Wolf Tree and Going Feral; award-winning Cynthia Neely, author of Broken Water, Flight Path, and Passing Through Blue Earth; and Pushcart-nominated Jacqueline Haskins, poet and author of an upcoming wellness book, will share bird-themed lyrical thoughts on the lawn at Wenatchee River Institute.
