The author of the Wells of Knowledge Science series, brings us another thought provoking non-fiction work on endangered species.

Can We Share The World With Tigers? is Well’s latest children’s book about sharing the planet with animals. A Bengal tigress and her cubs give the reader an up-close view of the dangers faced in their world. Well’s teaches through the tigers facts about the world, ecology, biodiversity, habitat destruction, species population, mass extinction, invasive species, eco-footprints, and alternative energy. The cartoon-style illustrations in pen-and-acrylic nicely convey the facts, flowcharts, and timelines. A glossary helps to make sense of the scientific terminology. Well’ has written other science and animal books, answering intriguing questions children would wonder about. Did a Dinosaur Drink This Water?  What's Faster Than a Speeding Cheetah?  Is a Blue Whale the Biggest Thing There Is? These are just a few titles from his 12 engaging and informative books.

Robert E. Wells is the author and illustrator of many intriguing and award-winning science books for children. He lives with his wife in Wenatchee, Washington.
